Job description

Duties: All chefs should be capable of preparing, cooking and serving all consumables as required by Management whilst complying with policies on quality, quantity, food hygiene and portion control. Ability to work with the Management team to ensure that the kitchen is operating efficiently and effectively. A chef’s role will have an essential part to contribute to our guest’s enjoyment of their stay. You will work with confidence and lead by example in the production of food and kitchen management.

Responsibilities

  • Job Rotation on a daily and weekly basis.
  • The cooling and serving of all food dishes.
  • Preparation of food for following service.
  • Accepting and signing of all food deliveries.
  • Stock rotation of all food on a daily basis.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Chef experience of working in a fast paced environment.

Desirable Skills

  • 2 years experience of working in a busy kitchen.
