Mortgage Administrator
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: BUTLER MORTGAGE SOLUTIONS A Mortgage Administrator will provide crucial administrative support to the mortgage advisor by processing applications from submission to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders and solicitors. This plays a vital role in businesses with the responsibilities varying across industries, and including tasks such as managing an office, fielding inquiries, oversee office inventory, scheduling meetings and supervising other administrative personnel. The suitable person must treat all information totally confidentially.
Responsibilities
- Process mortgage applications, tracking progress from submission to completion, and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Handle phone and email inquiries, providing updates to clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, solicitors and estate agents.
- Adhere to FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) regulations, maintaining compliance standards and manage client files. (Full training will be provided).
- Managing an office, oversee office inventory and scheduling meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and lenders and the ability to keep all customer details fully confidential.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Desirable Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
