Nightshift Project Worker
Job description
House 10 is a secure 24-hour supported living environment for six adults living with complex mental health needs. Our aim is to promote quality of life through compassionate, person-centred care and a psychologically safe environment that supports recovery. Our multidisciplinary team, including an on-site Occupational Therapist, provides holistic support, covering all aspects of daily living, physical and emotional wellbeing, medication management, and social inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain a trusting & professional relationship with Service Users and act in a supportive & empathetic manner towards them.
- Contribute to & help maintain a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
- Support Service Users to manage their Mental health, physical health and wellbeing through the development, implementation and monitoring of individual wellbeing and safety management plans.
- Actively encourage the involvement of Service Users in all aspects of decision making, be sensitive and seek solutions to difficulties encountered by them.
- Implement & adhere to Inspire Mental Health’s Journey Procedures, involving Service Users at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- To be able and willing to work waking nightshift.
- Be educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a related subject e.g. Care and 6 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
- OR A minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
- A minimum of 12 months paid experience supporting people within a health and social care setting.
- Experience of maintaining service user and agency records.
- Working knowledge of using IT systems.
