Foyle Golf Centre is seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Greenkeeper to join our small and dedicated team. The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and presentation of the golf course, driving range, and surrounding facilities to ensure the highest possible standards are consistently achieved. Working under the direction of the Head Greenkeeper, the Seasonal Greenkeeper will play a key role in the day-to-day upkeep of the course, contributing to an enjoyable experience for members and visitors alike. This is a hands-on, outdoor role that requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility is essential, as weekend work will be required on a rota basis (approx 2-3 hours twice a month). This is a seasonal post from April to September, with the opportunity to extend to full time employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Daily course preparation and presentation
• Bunker maintenance
• Mowing of fairways, rough, tees, and greens
• Operation and care of machinery
• Supporting ongoing improvement projects
• Working weekends as part of a rota system

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Can demonstrate machinery competence e.g. tractor driving, machinery operation and power tool operation
• Full driving licence
• Able to apply Manual Handling techniques
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of golf or greenkeeping (not essential, but definitely an advantage)

Further Information

No previous golf experience necessary - we will train the successful candidate in all aspects of Golf Course maintenance. Pension. PPE provided (boots and wet gear). Be a part of a supportive and professional working environment.
