Admin and Ticketing Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: GLENTORAN FOOTBALL CLUB The Ticketing and Administration Assistant will support the club’s ticketing operations and general administrative functions. This role provides valuable experience in customer service, administration, and data handling within a busy and fast-paced sporting environment. This role can be flexible to suit the right persons days and times available to work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ticket sales, reservations, and supporter enquiries.
  • Support matchday ticketing operations and cash handling.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks including data entry and filing.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate ticketing and customer records.
  • Provide customer service support via phone, email, and in person.
  • Support office staff with day-to-day administrative duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic IT skills, including use of email and data entry.
  • Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage tasks.
  • Professional approach when dealing with customers.
  • Good timekeeping skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Experience handling cash or payments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or databases.
  • Confidence speaking to customers in person and over the phone.
  • Interest in administration, customer service, or office-based work.

Location: The BetMcLean Oval. The Employer is: GLENTORAN FOOTBALL CLUB JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
