Warehouse Operative
Job description
Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their team based in Ballygawley.
Responsibilities
- The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the checking off/put away of parts within the Goods In function as well as accurate picking and packing of parts.
- You will contribute to departmental OKR’s by accurately checking off and putting away parts into location, while also ensuring a high level of accuracy when picking and packing in a timely manner for customer orders.
- You will also be responsible for reporting any quality issues at the earliest point within the process.
- When needed you may be required to help in other functions within the wider logistics team and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills.
- Capable of working on own initiative.
Desirable Skills
- Trained and experienced on safe operation forklifts, pallet trucks and other warehouse equipment.
- Previous Experience using Barcodes/ handheld scanners devices.
- Previous Experience using an ERP system.
- Previous experience in cycle counting/stock checking.
- Counterbalance or reach licence is desirable but not essential.
