Job description

This is a flexible role working 4 or 5 days per week Monday to Saturday, with Sundays always off. Saturday availability is essential, with 3 out of 4 Saturdays required. You’ll be a key part of our front-of-house team, delivering great service in a busy café environment. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and brings a calm, positive energy to the team. Responsibilities

  • Preparing and serving coffee and hot beverages (barista experience required)
  • Taking orders and providing friendly, efficient table and counter service
  • Preparing simple café food to a high standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the café
  • Opening and closing the café, including cash handling and till reconciliation
  • Acting as a key holder, ensuring the café is secure at all times

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Previous café or hospitality experience
  • Confident barista skills
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and excellent personal hygiene
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable working independently
