Job description
To run a busy kitchen in a fast paced environment. To lead a team of chefs.
Responsibilities
- Job rotation on a daily and weekly basis. Stock rotation of all food on a daily basis.
- Accepting and signing of all food deliveries and checking temperatures.
- Preparation of food for following service. The cooling and serving of all food dishes.
- To carry out all duties and instructions of the Head Chef in relation to the preparation and cooking of all food dishes. Extensive Awareness of all company policy in regards to cleaning, basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificates are required.
- Continuous compliance of the H.A.C.C.P. plan (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). Maintain an amicable co-working relationship within the kitchen staff with all staff and other staff within the establishment.
- Continuous compliance with Health and Safety Regulations. Ensure that food is served and presented to our policy standard. Food is to be served on hot plates for hot food, cold plates for cold food etc.
