Job description

To implement a child-centred and welcoming environment to all children within the setting. To work in line with a key worker system to ensure each child is observed and individual plans are made to meet all children developmental needs. To follow all policies and procedures in line with Minimum Standards.

Responsibilities

• Duty of care to all children
• Safeguard all children
• Implement innovative ideas when activity planning
• Work as part of a team
• Report to designated leader
• Follow settings policies and procedures
• To ensure the overall safety and wellbeing of the children is maintained

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 2 or higher in relevant childcare course

Desirable Skills

• Hold a valid UK driving licence in order to travel to training opportunities
• Experience working in a Childcare setting
