THE EMPLOYER IS: THE ESSENCE VAULT LTD The Jaq. Group is a fast-moving company which has experienced considerable growth over the last year and have partnered with the Jobstart Scheme to offer entry-level positions in the field of logistics and distribution. The junior production operative is an entry-level role in the manufacturing industry, responsible for assisting in the production process of goods or products.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup and preparation of machinery, materials and equipment needed for the production process.
• Gathering and organising raw materials and components, or parts required for production.
• Participating in the assembly, fabrication, or construction of products according to established specifications and guidelines.
• Inspecting products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and identifying any defects or issues.
• Operating basic machines under the guidance of senior operators, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols.
• Assisting in the packaging and labelling of finished products for distribution or shipment.
• Cleaning work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Documentation: Recording production data, quantities, and any issues encountered during the production process.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production operations.
• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure consistent and safe production practices.
• Acquiring knowledge of the production process, product specifications, and improving skills related to manufacturing operations.
