Templemore Swim School Manager. This is an exciting opportunity in the growth and development of Templemore Swim School. Templemore Swim School operates on behalf of Templemore Users Trust Ltd, a registered charity. We teach over 600 swimmers per week, children and adults. Pool hours are currently Monday to Friday 3pm to 10pm and Saturday 8am to 3pm. As the operational lead, your primary role will be to ensure the swim school runs efficiently, cost effectively and in line with appropriate and relevant standards, under the direction of the voluntary Board of Directors. This will involve management of staff and resources requiring you to build good relationships with the voluntary Board, Staff, Parents and Swimmers. You are to ensure the swim school succeeds in delivering its aims and objectives as well as its sustainability. We foresee the role requiring a time commitment of 27.5 hours per week which will include a minimum number of 15 teaching hours per week. Role is subject to AccessNI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the swim school.
• Ensure the swim school runs efficiently, cost effectively and in line with appropriate and relevant standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• STA Teaching Qualification or equivalent.
• Have a sound knowledge of swimming.
• Working knowledge of web based media platforms incl facebook/Instagram; Good communicator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including word, excel and outlook.

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of Swimsoft.
• Previous experience in managing people & finances; Previous experience with grant funding
