We at McParlands are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our giftware shop (16 hours per week). If you enjoy working with customers and have a passion for unique gifts and retail sales, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting gift items.
• Provide excellent customer service and product information.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the shop is tidy and organised.
• Handle sales transactions and operate the cash
• Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels
• Promote special offers and new products

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Customer focused approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.

Desirable Skills

• Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage but not essential.
