Job description

The Industrial Specialist cleaning role fulfils cleaning & waste management services at our many contracts across Northern Ireland. Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning & waste management activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
• Always maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
• Putting bins out for collection and bringing them back in after collection (includes domestic wheelie bins, commercial euro bins and recycling bins).
• Levelling of bins & removal of excess waste and contaminated waste.
• Removal of bulky waste items e.g. furniture, large electrical items (fridge/freezers etc).
• High level cleaning using step ladder.
• Deep cleaning including use of cleaning equipment e.g. carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, steam cleaner & power washer.
• Cleaning of bodily fluids e.g. blood, vomit, urine, faeces etc.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• UK Driving Licence for minimum of 12 months.

Desirable Skills

• Previous industrial cleaning or waste services experience would be beneficial.
