Audiologist
Job description
As an Audiologist working within NHSCT you will work as part of the Audiology team responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence based, diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology to the NHSCT population.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a wide range of clinical, diagnostic and technical procedures and assessments on adults and paediatrics in accordance with BAA/BSA.
- Recommended Procedures and Adult and Paediatric Audiology Quality Standards.
- Develop a comprehensive rehabilitation programme to meet the needs of adult patients including those with additional needs.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- BSc in Audiology / BSc in Health Care Science (Audiology) / Post Graduate qualification in Audiology OR Equivalent with Full BAA membership AND Registered with the AHCS or HCPC (See job description for full details).
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving (See job description for full details).
