Job description

We are looking for a focused and organised individual to join the Shnuggle team. While you will be working closely with our sales department, this is not a sales role. You will not be required to make cold calls, or meet sales targets. Instead, you will act as the central coordinator for our order fulfilment process. You will be responsible for the entire journey of an order, from the moment it arrives in our system until it is ready for dispatch. This is a vital role where accuracy is everything; you ensure that our customers receive exactly what they need, on time and with the correct documentation. It is the perfect position for someone who finds satisfaction in attention to detail and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Receiving incoming customer orders and accurately entering them into our stock management software to trigger the shipping process.
  • Data Checking: Checking order values and quantities to ensure everything matches up perfectly before the order is released to the warehouse.
  • Communication: Acting as a reliable point of contact for order queries, communicating clearly with both colleagues and customers via email or phone.
  • Reporting: Analyse and report sales figures to line manager, highlighting any areas of concern or excellence.
  • Records: Maintaining up-to-date, tidy records within our internal systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team to solve problems and ensure a smooth workflow. Be comfortable asking questions to ensure your work is of the highest standard.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy when handling data, numbers, and order forms.
  • Maths & English Skills: GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in both English and Maths. You must be able to write professional emails and perform basic calculations.
  • IT Literacy: Confident using a computer, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: The ability to explain information clearly and work well within a small, collaborative team environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Admin Experience: Some previous experience in an office or administrative environment.
  • Software Knowledge: Prior experience using stock management or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule (between 20 and 37.5 hours) as agreed.
