Job description

Seapatrick Care Home, Banbridge. We are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry causing minimal disruption to our services users and their care.

Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date with any changes to policies, procedures or regulations that affect the service.
• Take responsibility for personal development and attendance at training both mandatory and service specific.
• Report any incidents of abuse, mistreatment or non-compliance within the service to the Service Manager or next available management level.
• Ensure that high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are upheld in each facility.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have 2 suitable references.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential.

Location: Seapatrick care home Please note, from the 1st April 2026, the following new minimum wage rates will apply: 16-17 £8.00, 18-20 £10.85, 21 plus £12.71 per hour.
