Job description

The post holder will provide operational leadership to one of the specific immunisation programme workstreams to enable the Public Health Agency to deliver on its key functions in relation to immunisation programmes in Northern Ireland. Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operational management, coordination and delivery of immunisation programmes, within one of the immunisation workstreams, in line with Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advice, departmental policy and
  • Take the lead in preparing an action plan for the successful implementation of assigned immunisation workstream delivery.
  • Be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of robust governance structures and management arrangements within one of the immunisation workstreams.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Degree or recognised professional qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project/programme management or service improvement role (which should include working in a project or programme management/service improvement environment
  • Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, to achieve successful outcomes
  • Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
