Job description

Operation of injection moulding machine (side by side). Heavy lifting is required within this role lifting over 15kg periodically involved. Comes into the machine in pellet form. Product comes out every 60 seconds.

Responsibilities

• Running of the machine to make different moulds
• Checking of product for imperfections
• Snipping of any tags
• Boxing up of products
• Filing out of paperwork for the orders
• Putting any product that not to standard to the side
• Counting items before putting away
• Using hand and power tools
• Manual handling duties required
• Working with mould parts from the machines
• Putting parts on using soldering irons and adhesive

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 6 months production & machinery experience essential

Desirable Skills

• Driving licence.

When you transfer over to the company shifts will be available. Evening shift Monday - Thursday, 3.00pm - 1.00am. Night shift will be required further into this role Monday to Thursday 9pm - 7am 40 hours paid at £13.71 per hour.
