Job description

To work as part of the pharmacy and medicines management team in Primary Care to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality and consistency of prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within the SPPG Pharmacy and Medicines Management Team (PMMT) to assess need, establish priority and monitor standards of practice in relation to prescribing.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.

Desirable Skills

• Post-registration experience relevant to pharmacy and medicines management working in two or more distinct working settings for example: community pharmacy, hospital, GP practice, academia, industry, prescribing support.
