Job description

The post holder will be required to work Trust wide under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader Northern Ireland New Entrants Service (NINES), to assist in the assessment of health needs of new immigrants and asylum seekers within the community setting. The post holder is required to assist in the provision of safe, effective person and family-centered, compassionate care. The post holder will undertake clinical duties as required in the community, which have been delegated by Team Lead. The post holder must ensure that all information regarding people is kept in strict confidence. The post holder will be required to supervise and demonstrate procedures to qualified and/or unqualified staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Nurse on Part 1 (Adult) of the Live NMC register.

Desirable Skills

• Any additional experience/qualifications relevant to health/working with asylum seekers and new immigrants.
• Knowledge and experience of audit.
