An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Joiners to join a busy and well-established team in Castledawson. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of joinery duties, delivering high-quality workmanship across varied projects within a fast-paced working environment. About this role: £15.25 per hour (with review after 6-month period) Monday to Friday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Company van and fuel card provided. Career progression opportunties. Temporary to permanent role (initial 6-month period with transfer after 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery and general construction works on both void and tenanted properties.
• Complete works including kerbing, flagging, fencing, blockwork and concreting to a high standard.
• Work as part of a team to deliver a professional, courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants.
• Move, install, secure and handle materials safely, including loading and unloading as required.
• Operate a range of hand tools, power tools and equipment appropriate to the task and site.
• Ensure all work areas are left clean, tidy and safe at the end of each day.
• Work under instruction to meet client requirements and project specifications.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
• Complete and submit accurate site records and documentation, both electronic and paper-based, in line with contract requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Time served or appropriately qualified with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
• Strong background in minor building and maintenance joinery services.
• Full driving licence.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Available for out-of-hours callouts on a rotational basis (every 6-8 weeks).
• Access NI Disclosure Check will be required for this position. A criminal record will not necessarily be a barrier to employment.
