Job description

The appointed person will teach Mathematics and Engineering/Construction to A Level. They will be required to adhere to the general duties and responsibilities contained within the Teachers’ (Terms and Conditions of Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987.

Responsibilities

• To teach Mathematics and Engineering/Construction to A Level.
• To act as a Form Teacher with pastoral care duties.
• To teach Learning for Life and Work/Personal Development programme.
• To lead and deliver extra-curricular activities within the school.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A teaching qualification as approved by the Department of Education (NI); and An honours degree or equivalent in which Mathematics/Engineering is a major component.
• A minimum of a 2:2 honours degree.
