Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder to join the Terex Dungannon fabrication team and play a key role in the production of screening equipment within a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding on steel components used in the manufacture of screening equipment.
• Fabricate components including frames, chassis, hoppers, conveyors and support structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications accurately.
• Inspect and check completed welds using measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work to production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
• Support safe movement and handling of production parts throughout the process.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to support continuous improvement activities.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience as a Welder or Fabricator within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Competency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes and engineering tolerances.
• Experience using power tools and workshop machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.

About the role: From £13.00 - £16.00 depending on experience Monday to Thursday (6.30am - 4.45pm, times may vary) 39 hours a week Temporary, full time role
