We are currently recruiting for a Project Administration Officer to join the team at Gifted, based in The Old Market House, Bangor. This is a key role supporting the delivery of our community programmes, co-working space and funded projects, providing essential administrative, operational and front-of-house support. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of activities, supporting participants, coordinating information and contributing to the overall experience within our shared space. Responsibilities

  • To provide initial and ongoing administrative support and frontline reception service for users of The Old Market House including Social Media platforms and Website.
  • To provide typing, data input, filing, photocopying, financial claim preparation.
  • Procurement and value for money checks.
  • Provide participant support as directed.
  • Student and customer registration, and assisting events management.
  • To work in conjunction with all other staff to provide administration on a range of projects.
  • To maintain updated and accurate record keeping, monitoring and evaluation via platforms such as Teams, Database and other internal monitoring tools.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for other institutions in order to promote the project and the centre as support service.
  • Assist in updating and amending Digital Marketing including website , social media and email marketing.
  • Prepare timetables, leaflets, newsletters where required. Prepare and set up rooms for training activity. Track participant achievement and monitor impact via evaluation tools.
  • Work with multiple centre projects, coworking & other stakeholders to meet participants and customer needs (signposting).
  • Participate in staff development and CPD activity as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

  • Knowledge of the community and voluntary sector.
