Creative Gardens Cafes are famous for their homemade scones, desserts and traybakes. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee operations within our new Bakehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards, product quality, food safety, and compliance are consistently maintained across all operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets
• Collaborate effectively with off site Group Team and onsite Head Baker to meet overall production goals and maintain workflow continuity
• Creating the weekly production plan
• Coordinating orders from each café and shop location
• Staffing rotas and labour planning
• Dispatch coordination to 4 locations
• Stock movement and inventory oversight
• Labelling, allergen compliance, traceability
• Ensure adherence to Health & safety procedures and HACCP plan
• Equipment maintenance planning

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
• Effective communication skills to liaise across departments
• Has at least one-year experience in a commercial production kitchen environment
• Available to work 5 days per week over 40 hours

Desirable Skills

• Previous senior role experience in a large-scale bakery or food production kitchen
• Working knowledge of HACCP safety legislation
• Have or be working towards Food Safety Level 3
