Production Baker


Job description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Baker to support the daily operations of a busy bake-house. This role is ideal for someone with baking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality products and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

  • Producing breads, traybakes, cakes, scones, desserts etc
  • Preparing and mixing doughs, batters, and pastries
  • Following recipes and production methods accurately
  • Baking products and using ovens
  • Maintaining consistency and quality of all products
  • Supporting general bakery operations and cleanliness
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in a bakery or similar food production environment
  • Good knowledge of baking processes and techniques
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work early mornings

Desirable Skills

  • Formal baking or culinary qualification
  • Experience using commercial bakery equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP)
