Job description

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative based in Crossmaglen.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and store incoming goods in the correct warehouse locations.
• Pick and supply ingredients, packaging and materials to production areas in line with production requirements.
• Prepare finished products for dispatch, including palletising, labelling and staging for collection.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure correct stock rotation is followed, including FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Verify product details including pallet ID, batch codes, expiry dates and quantities during goods receipt and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records for stock movements, deliveries and dispatch documentation.
• Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, organised and compliant with food safety and storage standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable.
• Basic understanding of written and spoken English (sufficient to follow instructions and complete documentation).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures accurately.
• Good attention to detail when handling stock and documentation.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks safely.
• Forklift licence or willingness to undertake training (desirable depending on role requirements).
