Job description

To manage, supervise, and support care staff to ensure high-quality care is delivered to service users in their homes, in accordance with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council Standards of Conduct and Practice 2015. They oversee care plan adherence, conduct risk assessments, and provide mentoring or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervision & Support: They conduct supervisions, appraisals, and inductions for care workers.
• Care Coordination: They oversee the quality of care, perform spot checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Acting as a role model, they provide, support, guidance and assistance to Community Carers.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must have the minimum of a Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care and 2 years full time experience in a caring role and access to a car for business purposes.
