Industrial 2 Tradesperson Conservation Joiner
Job description
The main duties and responsibilities of the post-holder will include operating all hand tools and machines pertaining to conservation joinery.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and repairing detailed historical Conservation Joinery.
- Cleaning and repairing timber elements of structures, buildings and monuments, including dismantling, repair and re-assembly of elements on site and in the workshop.
- Making Conservation Joinery items to a high standard of conservation craft work.
- Making templates and producing drawings.
- Working with dimensional drawings.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants must have, by the closing date for applications a relevant NVQ Level 3 and/or City & Guilds Advanced Craft in Joinery.
- At least 1 year’s post-apprenticeship experience in Joinery.
- Possess a full current driving licence to enable the post holder to drive in Northern Ireland.
