Job description
Handyperson - Northern Ireland Housing Executive - Newtownabbey. Join the team at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive in Newtownabbey as a Handyperson and play an important role in supporting the maintenance and upkeep of housing properties.
Responsibilities
- Able to carry out roof-work repairs (tiles and chimney)
- Patching of plaster and brickwork, concrete paths and erecting metal handrails
- Sewer repairs
- General labouring tasks
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in a similar role i.e. Handyperson/Labourer or equivalent
- A full current driving licence, (C1 category desirable), a form of transport will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties
- IT/Microsoft Office Proficiency Beginner
