Job description

The post holder will liaise closely with the Respiratory Consultants. The post holder will assist in developing and implementing an innovative and specialist outpatients nursing service caring for patients with the aim of facilitating improvements in the quality of respiratory services to patients in collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary teams in both primary and secondary care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the processes are in place that will allow for mapping of the current outpatients pathway and collate data that reflects the service as it develops.
• The post holder will run clinics in line with pathway.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A Level 1 Registered Nurse on the live NMC Register (general adult branch).

Desirable Skills

• Experience over and above minimum.
• Experience in non-invasive ventilation.
• Experience in Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Experience in Sleep Apnoea.
