Job description

Our client is seeking a welder to join their team in Portadown.

Responsibilities

• Welding mild steel and aluminium components using MIG (TIG experience advantageous).
• Working to engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Producing quality welds to meet production and quality standards.
• Carrying out basic fabrication work including cutting, grinding, and finishing.
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Meeting production targets and deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Coded welder certificate BS EN ISO 9606 within 2-year validity.
• Previous experience as a production welder or fabricator.
• MIG welding experience essential (TIG desirable).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail .
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
