Job description

We are currently recruiting a chef to join our award winning team in Carnlough, This is a great opportunity to work in a newly refurbished family run hotel on the Antrim Coast. As a chef you will work alongside the Head Chef and the rest of the team, you will have experience in a similar role and Food Hygiene level 2 qualified.

Responsibilities

  • To assist with the operation of the kitchen ensuring high standards of preparation and presentation are maintained.
  • Ensuring the planning, preparation, cooking of food are to the highest standards at all times
  • Stock Rotation & replenishment
  • Manage food waste through the correct procedure
  • Be aware of H&S in the work place and HACCP regulations
  • Assist the Head chef with menu planning and development
  • Be involved and contribute to team meetings

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Enjoy working as part of a team, be able to multi-task, and work well under pressure, working indecently and on own initiative.
  • Experience in a similar role.
