Job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fibreglass Laminator / General Operative to join our team. The role involves supporting the production and repair of fibreglass components using hand layup techniques. Previous experience in fibreglass laminating is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the hand layup of fibreglass components.
• Prepare moulds and materials for production.
• Trim, finish and inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate general workshop equipment and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Provide support with other production tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instruction.

Desirable Skills

• Experience using hand and power tools is an advantage.
• Woodworking skills or experience would also be beneficial.

Further Information

45 hours per week Pay dependent on experience Overtime paid at time and a half for the first 5 hours Double time paid thereafter Weekly pay Holidays: 28 days per year
