Job description

We are seeking a Fibreglass Laminator / General Operative to join our team. The role involves supporting the production and repair of fibreglass components using hand layup techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the hand layup of fibreglass components
• Prepare moulds and materials for production
• Trim, finish and inspect completed parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate general workshop equipment and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Provide support with other production tasks as required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work well within a team and follow instruction
• Experience using hand and power tools is an advantage
• Woodworking skills or experience would also be beneficial

Further Information

Previous experience in fibreglass laminating is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. Overtime paid at time and a half for the first 5 hours. Double time paid thereafter. Weekly pay. 28 days per year.
