Job description

We have a selection of restaurants at the resort so our kitchens are very busy environments. Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation. We have a dedicated brigade of kitchen porter’s so we are seeking people with excellent, hard-working attitudes. Galgorm Collection always offers internal opportunities for our employees so our kitchen porters often progress onto kitchen assistants. Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
• Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
• Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable Skills

• Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
