Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who is seeking a reliable and compassionate Carer. This is a casual role providing occasional support to a female with a fluctuating illness, with hours agreed in advance and flexibility required to cover holidays and sickness. Working hours are occasional and typically fall between Monday and Saturday, starting mid morning and finishing early afternoon, with as much notice as possible provided in advance. Responsibilities

• The role includes driving and accompanying the service user to appointments, assisting with a wheelchair, and providing general support during outings.
• Additional duties include household tasks, cooking with the ability to follow recipes, and personal care as required. Mobility transfers are not required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A valid driving licence, access to a suitable vehicle with a large boot to transport a foldable wheelchair, and up to date car insurance are essential.
• Previous caring experience is required and can include supporting family members.
• Good domestic and housekeeping skills are also necessary.

Desirable Skills

• Applicants must be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy, with a kind and positive nature.

Further Information

Salary: £20.00 per hour (paid monthly via bank transfer)
