Job description

Housekeeper/Waiting Staff required. Complete tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, empty bins, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Use an ironing roller press to iron sheets and duvets covers
• Breakfast serving duties include meeting & greeting guests in the dining room. In addition, preparing and serving breakfast beverages and toast.
• Cleaning and resetting tables and keeping all areas of the dining room neat and tidy.
• Complete tasks directed by management according to a time schedule. Tasks include cleaning public areas of the guest house and guests' bedrooms.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous Housekeeping or Care Home cleaning experience required.
• Previous kitchen/restaurant waiting experience required for serving breakfast.
• Must be flexible and able to work without supervision.
• High cleaning standards are essential as well as good customer service skills.
• Must work well under pressure.

Further Information

Work day starts any time from 7:30am - shifts are 4-5hrs and can finish up to 13:30pm. Breakfast service finishes approx. 10.30am, after which cleaning duties commence until completion. Based on working 3 mornings per week. Days of work are varied over 7 days on a rota, with occasional weekend days (produced 1 week in advance).
