Job description

Working within our state of the art Head Office in Belfast ideally located right next to the main motorway network you would be based in our onsite 75,000 sq ft of bonded warehouse. Driving and delivery duties.

Responsibilities

• Driving and delivery duties. Excellent customer service skills ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times.
• Complete vehicle checks in line with operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Manager both in writing and verbally.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment PPE. Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must hold a valid HGV2 licence. Digital Tachograph card and full Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Good geographical knowledge of NI. Good knowledge of driver’s hours, rules and regulations. Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must have experience of using ratchet straps. Must be able to apply Manual Handling techniques. Must be flexible to work weekends & Bank holidays.
