Job description

We are seeking a skilled Joinery Installer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and fitting bespoke joinery products at customer sites across County Down and County Antrim.

Responsibilities

  • Install a wide range of manufactured joinery products including garden sheds, driveway gates, garden rooms, and custom-built components
  • Carry out precise measurements and site preparation prior to installation
  • Interpret technical drawings and follow specifications accurately
  • Work closely with the workshop team to ensure products are ready for installation
  • Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Deliver high standard finishing work, ensuring all installations meet company quality guidelines
  • Communicate professionally with clients and site personnel
  • Troubleshoot fitting issues and adapt designs or methods when required
  • Complete installation reports, job sheets, and any required documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures on all sites

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a Joinery Fitter, Installation Joiner, or similar joinery role
  • Strong practical joinery and carpentry skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and templates
  • High level of accuracy, workmanship, and attention to detail
  • Good problem solving ability and adaptability for on site challenges
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a small team

Desirable Skills

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, or equivalent
  • CSR/CSCS card
  • Experience with bespoke or high end joinery products

Further Information

Location: From workshop in Bangor to sites across Co Down and Co Antrim - vehicle provided. This is a hands on customer facing role and requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, problem solving skills, the ability to deliver high quality work in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments and a strong focus on quality.
