Job description

We are currently recruiting for HGV 2 Driver to join our environmental team in the Derry/Londonderry area. You will be required to go out in teams of 2, 1 driver and 1 operator cleaning the drains of blockages and excess water. Respecting at all times the Health and Safety aspect of working on the highways towns and rural areas. You will be required to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Gully drain cleaning emptying. Water jetting of existing pipework and chambers.
• Timely completion of schedules and other forms daily documentation then posted to the office on a weekly basis.
• Liaising with customers regarding work requirements.
• Adherence to PPE and Health and Safety requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold Class 2 HGV licence.
• Teamwork skills.

Further Information

Work Time: Roughly 45 to 50 hours per week schedule depending. Opportunity for overtime and weekend work. Vehicle situated locally. PPE uniform provided.
