Training Facilitator/Governance and Compliance Officer


Job description

To ensure NWCare Service Users receive delivery of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and in line with company Aims and Objectives. He/she is responsible for carrying out quality monitoring, health and safety risk assessments in line with legislation and company Health and Safety Policy, staff monitoring and spot checks on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities

  • This is a dual role of Quality Monitoring Officer and Training Facilitator. The post holder will demonstrate staff engagement and person-centred care through role modelling this approach in the delivery of training and monitoring standards.
  • MONITORING - To ensure NWCare Service Users receive delivery of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and in line with company aims and objectives.
  • He/she is also responsible for carrying out quality monitoring, health and safety risk assessments in line with legislation and company health and safety policy, staff monitoring and spot checks on behalf of the company.
  • This monitoring or checks will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • There must be an element of training and education to implement onsite corrective action with staff.
  • TRAINING - To ensure the timely delivery of relevant approved/accredited training to all NWCare domiciliary care staff and office staff in order to meet organisational and legislative requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above - Registered Nurse.
  • Previous experience training in health care.
  • Registered with the NI Social Care Council and/or registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council.
  • Provides evidence of past personal and professional development.
  • Provides evidence of knowledge of quality assurance systems and RQIA minimum standards.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High standard of accuracy.

Desirable Skills

  • EXPERIENCE- QCF Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Trainer Qualification.
