Are you interested in a role in care? We are actively recruiting home care assistants to cover rotas in Limavady. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy.

Responsibilities

• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in H & SC.
• Previous paid caring experience.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.

Further Information

We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday The morning rotas begin at 07:00 and finish at 14:30, afternoons (15:00 - 18:30) and the evening rotas begin at 19:00 - 23:00 The bed rotas offer a flexible option to earn extra money. Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate - paid for by NWCare We offer all of our staff - Excellent hourly rate of pay. Mileage paid. Annual leave on a pro rata basis. NISCC - Post registration training learning. On-line learning. Training academies throughout Northern Ireland. Practical paid training.
