Job description

NWCare is one of the leading providers of domiciliary care in Northern Ireland, serving the community for well over 50 years. We are recruiting home care assistants to cover morning and afternoon rotas in Claudy. We work a 4/3 rota pattern: Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday The morning rotas are 07:00 - 15:00

Responsibilities

• Care in the community.
• Personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
