Receptionist
Job description
We are currently seeking a Receptionist to become a valued member of our dynamic Front office team. This is a part time role, with set work days of Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Weekend work will not be a usual part of this role but the individual would need to be flexible to cover occasional weekend shifts when needed for holiday leave.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails, messages, and other guest inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, and balance daily cash receipts.
- Other day to day administrative tasks as they arise
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident IT skills to include word and excel.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a hospitality environment
- Experience with booking systems
- A good customer service background
