Receptionist


Job description

We are currently seeking a Receptionist to become a valued member of our dynamic Front office team. This is a part time role, with set work days of Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Weekend work will not be a usual part of this role but the individual would need to be flexible to cover occasional weekend shifts when needed for holiday leave.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails, messages, and other guest inquiries in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, and balance daily cash receipts.
  • Other day to day administrative tasks as they arise

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident IT skills to include word and excel.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a hospitality environment
  • Experience with booking systems
  • A good customer service background
