Founded in 1951, Bedeck is one of the UK’s leading names in Bed, Bath and Home accessories. Our collections include Bedeck of Belfast, Sanderson, Joules, and Ted Baker, and are sold through major retailers, shop-in-shops, and our own Bedeck Home stores. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Assistants and Keyholder to lead the way. Contract Type: Temporary Maternity Cover Contracted Hours: 18 hours per week Rate of Pay: Discussed at Interview As Retail Sales Assistant and Keyholder, you’ll be a key part of our brand and a team player in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving commercial success. You’ll be part of a talented team, support in day-to-day operations, and provide excellent customer service to those looking to purchase our premium bedlinen and homeware collections in store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience.
• Support the store’s visual merchandising standards by organising displays and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Handle transactions accurately using the till system, including upselling products to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain stock levels by replenishing shelves and organising stockroom areas efficiently.
• Support opening and closing procedures as a Key Holder, including securing the premises after hours.
• Answering enquiries or taking orders over the phone.
• Assist in organising promotional events or sales campaigns to attract customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in retail or merchandising.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to engage with customers and team members.
• A form of transport to the location of the store
• Right to Work in the UK

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with premium homeware or lifestyle products is a plus.
