Job description

Enable clients with a learning disability to live fulfilling and valued lifestyles in a beautiful, holistic community, ensuring all their needs are met. Work under guidance of Team Leader and Senior Support Worker. Provide individualised care and support. Ensure a high quality service that reflects the Community's ethos and values.

Responsibilities

• Empower and enable individuals to make decisions in all areas of their lives. Provide individualised care and support.
• Assist with specialist care.
• Keep accurate records. Work within a team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Two years' experience in care/support role.
• Good literacy, numeracy and computer skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights. Respect the ethos of Camphill Clanabogan.

Further Information

N.B There is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to be female due to the personal care needs of our clients. 20 holidays and 10 bank holidays. 24-hours access to our Employee Assistance Programme. Auto enrolment in pension plan, if eligible. Six-month probationary period. Unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas for this role. Candidates must be eligible to work in UK.
