Verbal is seeking a Project Trainer to deliver its Applied Storytelling model inside Maghaberry and Hydebank Wood College & Women's Prison as part of the Inside Stories project, supported by the Public Health Agency in partnership with the Northern Ireland Prison Service. Inside Stories combines bibliotherapy, experiential learning and CBT techniques to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of adults in a high-stress criminal justice setting. You will facilitate weekly sessions, work alongside prison and clinical staff, capture qualitative and quantitative monitoring data and contribute to programme development.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Verbal's Applied Storytelling model with & to vulnerable adults experiencing living in a high stress environment within the Northern Ireland Criminal Justice Setting.
- Support the mental health and emotional well being of adults.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants are required to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel related to the post. This is essential.
- Degree level in a relevant qualification.
- proven facilitation experience in training or learning workshops.
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
Desirable Skills
- Experience in a criminal justice setting is desirable.
