Job description

We are seeking Brake Press Operatives for our client, SlurryKat. The position will include but not wholly be limited to the following: Operation of CNC laser cutting, plasma.

Responsibilities

• Operation of CNC laser cutting, plasma
• Setting up the machine by reading engineering drawings, programming
• Kitting out cut and folded parts for production orders
• Assisting on the Press Brake when necessary
• Operate hand tools
• Working accurately to drawings and instructions from your manager
• Working to deadlines set by your manager
• Responsible for personal quality control and make adjustments as necessary
• Complete necessary accompanying paperwork
• Operate within safety guidelines and any operating procedures
• Developing our new Kitting Area to maximise production efficiency

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of two years' experience in operation of CNC
• Further inhouse training will be provided
• Multi-task orientated and possess good organisation skills and attention to detail
• Be able to work to critical timescales
• Please note job can/will be physical

Work Time: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm (over time paid at £2 more per hour).
