Service Coordinator - Connect Fermanagh. 2 year fixed term contract. Based at Fermanagh House, Enniskillen. Connect Fermanagh is seeking a compassionate and organised Service Coordinator to lead the day to day delivery of our befriending service, supporting adults experiencing loneliness and isolation across County Fermanagh. Working closely with a dedicated team of volunteers, the post-holder will manage referrals and matching, support and supervise volunteers, monitor weekly befriending calls, and act as the lead for safeguarding concerns. The role also involves providing information, signposting and advocacy, promoting the service within the community, organising social activities, and maintaining accurate records and monitoring reports. The post-holder will support fundraising activity and help shape the ongoing development of the service. This is a varied and meaningful role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and managing a community based service independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage referrals and volunteers, lead safeguarding, promote the service, organise activities, maintain records and reporting, and support community outreach.
• Coordinate the daily running of a telephone befriending service across Fermanagh.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care or similar.
• Experience supporting volunteers & vulnerable adults plus safeguarding knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• ICT skills.
• Driving licence with access to a car.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in befriending or wellbeing services, activity planning, partnership working, social media, promotion.
